Pacific Islands
Pacific IslandsFor many of us, radio is the constant companion we take for granted; going where we go.
Imagine living on a small island, somewhere in the vast South Pacific, isolated by ocean and jungle. No books, no TV. Maybe just one radio station. That's what it's like for 11 million people in Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific Islands.
What does this isolation mean for the Gospel? Superstition and tribal religions flourish. Many villages are without a church and the churches that are there are devoted to 200-year-old European traditions. How will people hear the Gospel? How will they grow as followers of Jesus Christ?
